The silhouette is made of 3 mm poplar plywood. It is laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. That's where the smooth edges come from. So does the typical brown edge, which gives the shape a fine outline. The wood is left natural, neither varnished nor glazed. It takes paint, oil or glue reliably. As a natural material, every piece has its own structure. The shade varies, and small knots or variations in the grain can occur. This isn't a flaw. It's what makes every cutout unique.
