- For bigger projects, you don't need to order pieces one by one. The porcini is also available in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
Why this wooden porcini makes a difference every day
A motif made of real wood looks different from printed card: calmer, warmer, more natural. Use it on the windowsill, on an autumn wreath or as a table decoration. The porcini suits any seasonal display. And because you design it yourself, you create something of your own. Not a ready-made item, but your own piece of the woods at home.
Material & finish
The porcini is laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck. This gives clean, precise results and smooth edges that don't splinter. The top side has the fine scored outlines. The back is left natural. The plywood is untreated, not varnished or stained. So you can decorate it however you like. Wood is a purely natural material. It shows different shades, fine grain patterns and the occasional small knot. This makes every piece one of a kind – it's not a flaw.

How to use the wooden porcini mushroom
- Autumn crafting with children: each child paints their own mushroom along the pre-scored outlines. At the end, they proudly take their piece of the woods home.
- As a window decoration for mushroom season: hang a few porcini mushrooms in different sizes in the window. The view outside instantly feels like autumn.
- On the coffee table: scatter small mushrooms between conkers and moss. Your table decoration tells the story of your last walk in the woods.
- At nursery for a woodland theme: the sets of 10, 25 or 50 are enough for the whole group. And every child has the same motif in front of them.
- In a farm shop or at the weekly market: painted porcini mushrooms on the counter or stall show at a glance that you sell fresh mushrooms or autumn produce. And they're quick to set up.
Good to know about the porcini
In some German regions, the porcini is also called Herrenpilz, the 'gentleman's mushroom'. This shows how highly this edible mushroom has always been valued. It's the best-known mushroom motif of all. Few symbols stand for the woods and autumn like it does. That's why it suits harvest festival, autumn table decorations and any woodland theme at nursery or school.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do. The wood is untreated and stays looking good for a long time in dry indoor spaces. Avoid constant moisture. If you want to use the mushroom outdoors, a coat of paint or oil protects the wood and keeps it looking as it should.
