Material & finish

The star is made from 3 mm plywood and laser-cut in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck. It has smooth edges and a clean finish, made in Thuringia. The wood is untreated, neither lacquered nor glazed. Paints, glues and oils adhere to it particularly well. As a natural material, every piece shows its own grain. Some are lighter, some darker, and some have small knots. This makes every star unique and is not a defect.

How to use the plywood star
