Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.Your themed party invitation still needs the right hook. A cash gift for a new mobile phone looks a little lost on its own in an envelope. A wooden telephone gives both a clear shape. It is made for exactly this: a clear silhouette to paint, cover and decorate. You can choose any size from 3 to 50 cm. A simple cutout becomes your own decoration – painted, decorated or left natural.
What changes for you
- You design the wooden telephone exactly the way you want. The plywood is untreated, so you can paint, decorate, varnish or oil it.
- You get the size that really suits your project. Choose any width from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
- You don't need to saw or sand anything. The laser-cut edges are smooth and clean.
- You can plan bigger craft sessions with ease. The cutout comes singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
- You hold a real piece of nature in your hand. Every wooden telephone has its own grain, so each one is unique.
Why this wooden telephone makes a difference every day
Ready-made decorations often look the same everywhere. An untreated wooden cutout only becomes something of your own through your hands. Paint it in bold colours with the children at the kitchen table. Or leave it natural as a decorative telephone on the shelf. The natural wood keeps your design calm and simple. You choose the size yourself. So the motif works for anything from a small card decoration to a large sign in the shop window.
Material & finish
The telephone is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical brown edge that frames the silhouette clearly. The edges are smooth and the finish is clean. You can start designing straight away without sanding. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. That's why it takes paint, glue and oil well. As a natural material, each piece varies in shade. Small knots or fine irregularities in the grain are part of it. This makes every wooden telephone unique. The cutout is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the wooden telephone
- Crafting with children in the afternoon: everyone paints their own telephone. At the end, a colourful collection hangs in the window, and everyone is proud of it.
- Making cash gifts: stick the motif onto the card for a new mobile phone. The envelope tells everyone straight away what it's about.
- As table scatter or tags at a retro themed party: a small telephone at every place. Your table has a theme from the start.
- In the shop or office: a large cutout with the words “Ruf uns an” and your number. Your contact details stand out at the counter straight away.
- Decorating cards, door wreaths or gifts: stick on a small motif. Something plain becomes something lovingly made.
Good to know about the telephone
The classic silhouette with handset and rotary dial is still a symbol of contact and being reachable. You'll find it on signs, buttons and displays, even though hardly anyone has such a phone at home any more. That's exactly why the motif works so well. Use it for invitations or to point to a phone number. Or send it as a nostalgic greeting to everyone who prefers a call to a message.
Care & durability
There isn't much to do. Keep the untreated wood dry and protect it from constant moisture. Then it will keep its shape and look for a long time. If you want it to be more durable in use, simply paint, oil or glaze it – whatever suits your project.

Frequently asked questions
Is the wood treated? No, the plywood is left natural, neither varnished nor stained. You can paint it, stick things on it, coat it or oil it straight away.
How is the size measured? You choose the width of the telephone. The height is proportional. For example, at a width of 10 cm the height is 7 cm.
Where does the brown edge come from? The cutout is laser-cut. The brown edge is typical of this process. It also gives you smooth, clean edges that need no finishing.
Does every piece look the same? Wood is a natural material. Shade and grain vary, and small knots are normal. That's what makes every cutout unique.
A wooden cutout is only the start. What counts is the moment a simple silhouette becomes your own idea – painted, decorated, given as a gift. Just choose your size and quantity and get started.
