The club night is coming up, the tournament is planned, or you're looking for a small gift for a tennis player you like. And you still need the right motif to craft with. This wooden cutout of a tennis player is made for moments like these. It's a clear silhouette with a tennis racket. You can paint it, stick things on it and design it just the way you want. That turns a plain piece of plywood into a decoration that suits your occasion.

What changes for you

  • You design the motif just the way you like it – because the wood is untreated and can be painted, decorated, coated or oiled.
  • You'll find the right size for every project, from a small gift tag to a large table decoration. You can choose any height from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • You don't need to saw or sand anything. The silhouette is laser-cut and arrives with smooth edges.
  • You can also decorate larger events such as club parties or tournaments without extra effort. Sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces are available.
  • You're crafting with a natural material that feels pleasant to the touch. Every piece is one of a kind.

Why this wooden cutout makes a difference every day

You see ready-made decorations everywhere. A motif you've designed yourself tells a little story instead. Use it on a gift for your tennis partner, on the table at the end-of-season party or as a reminder of a match you won. The tennis player puts the very theme on the table that connects you. And because you decide how she looks in the end, she always suits your style and your occasion.

Material & finish

The silhouette is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. It's made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. The typical brown edge comes from the laser and gives the motif a clear, clean outline. The edges are smooth, so you can start designing straight away. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. It takes paint, glue and oil well. As a natural material, it varies in shade, shows fine structures in the grain and sometimes small knots. That's not a flaw. It's exactly what makes every piece unique.

How to use the female tennis player

  • Crafting with children: The little ones paint their own player in the club colours. They're visibly proud when their work later decorates the clubhouse.
  • As a gift tag: Attach a small silhouette to a birthday present for your tennis friend. Even before it's unwrapped, it's clear that you've put some thought into it.
  • At club parties or tournaments: Place a motif at every seat or at the award ceremony. The tables look lovingly prepared without hours of decorating.
  • In your club or fan shop: With sets from 10 pieces, you can kit out member awards, youth camps or stand decorations in one go. Everything matches and is quick to set up.
  • For gifts of money: Stick the player onto a card or a small board and arrange the notes around it. It's a money gift that suits the hobby instead of a standard envelope.

Good to know about the tennis motif

Tennis is one of the sports with the longest tradition. The Wimbledon tournament has been held since 1877. The motif suits anniversaries and awards at your tennis club. It works just as well as modern decoration for the next tournament weekend.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Store the untreated wooden cutout in a dry place and keep it away from constant moisture. Then it will keep its shape and its light, natural look for a long time. If you paint or oil the motif, you protect the surface further. It also brings out the grain of the plywood more clearly.

Options & what's included

  • Height of your choice: 5 cm to 50 cm in 1 cm steps
  • Available singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100
  • You'll receive the untreated wooden silhouette. Paints, ribbons and other craft supplies are not included

Frequently asked questions

Can I paint or decorate the silhouette? Yes. The plywood is untreated. You can paint it, colour it, stick things on it or oil it. It's ideal for crafting and designing your own way.

Where does the brown edge come from? It comes from the laser cutting and is typical of this cutting method. The edges are smooth and don't need any finishing.

Do all cutouts look the same? The shape is always identical, but the wood as a natural material is not. Shade, grain and small knots vary. Every piece is one of a kind.

Are there quantities for larger events? Yes. You can order the tennis player individually or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces. For example, for club parties or tournaments.

What really counts is not the plywood. It's the moment someone from your tennis club holds the figure you designed. And they realise: this was made especially for this occasion. Just choose your size and quantity – and get started.
