Why this wooden tiger makes a difference in everyday life
A wooden tiger cutout is more than a craft blank. It gives your idea a clear shape without pinning it down. Painted in bright colours in a child's bedroom, left natural on a gift or placed in a shop window: the silhouette is instantly recognisable as a tiger. You decide how much you make of it. The result is decoration that doesn't look shop-bought. It looks like you.
Material & finish
The tiger is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. It has the typical brown edge, which gives the figure a finely drawn outline. The edges are smooth and the finish is clean. You can pick up the figure and start working on it straight away. The wood is left in its natural state, neither varnished nor glazed. You can paint it, stick things on it or oil it, just as your project needs. Wood is a natural material, so every figure turns out slightly different. Varying shades, fine grain patterns and small knots are normal and make every piece one of a kind.

How to use the wooden tiger
- At a jungle-themed children's party: every child paints their own tiger. At the end, they take home a keepsake they designed themselves.
- In a child's bedroom: combine several sizes to create a little tiger family on the wall. The room gets its theme without you buying expensive ready-made decorations.
- On gifts: tie a small tiger to the ribbon instead of a bow. Your parcel will stand out on the gift table.
- At nursery, school or a craft group: with a set of 25, 50 or 100, every child has the same blank. Same start, very different results.
- In a shop or shop window: a large silhouette from 30 or 40 cm wide marks out a themed display. It's quick to set up and quick to take down again.
Good to know about tigers
In many cultures, the tiger stands for courage and strength. It is also one of the twelve zodiac signs in the Chinese calendar. So the figure isn't just jungle decoration. It's also a nice gesture for a birthday in the Year of the Tiger. Or give it as a lucky charm to someone who could use a little courage right now.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. An occasional dry dusting is enough. The plywood is untreated, so avoid constant moisture. Kept dry indoors, the tiger will keep its shape and look for a long time. If you paint or oil it, you decide on the surface yourself.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the wooden tiger? Yes. The plywood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. You can paint it, stick things on it or oil it.
Where does the brown edge come from? The tiger is laser-cut. This creates the typical brown edge. The edges are smooth and cleanly cut.
How tall is the figure at the width I choose? The proportions stay the same. At a width of 10 cm, the height is 5 cm.
Do all the figures look the same? The shape is identical, but the wood isn't. As a natural material, it varies in shade and may show fine grain patterns or small knots. That's exactly what makes every piece unique.
What really counts is not the plywood cutout. It's the moment a child holds up their finished tiger and beams. Just choose your size and quantity. You design the rest.
