Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.A jungle-themed children's birthday party, a name sign for the children's room or a wild garland above the craft table – sometimes all you need is the right motif. This wooden tiger head is an untreated plywood cutout, made for your next craft idea. You paint it, stick things on it or decorate it exactly the way your project needs. That turns a plain blank into your very own decoration.
What changes for you
- You can start creating straight away, with no preparation. The wood is untreated. You can paint it, glue things to it, coat it or oil it directly.
- You get exactly the size your project needs. The width can be chosen from 3 cm to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
- You can work comfortably, with no risk of splinters at the edges. That's thanks to the laser cut with its smooth edges.
- You can plan bigger activities with ease, such as crafting with children at nursery or school. The tiger head is available singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
- You hold a genuine natural material in your hands instead of plastic. The visible grain makes every piece one of a kind.
Why this wooden tiger head makes a difference in everyday life
Ready-made decorations often look the same everywhere. A blank you design yourself carries your own touch. Painted in bright colours for the children's room or left natural on a shelf: the tiger becomes whatever you make of it. And crafting together gives you what really matters along the way: a lovely afternoon at the table.
Material & finish
The tiger head is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical fine brown rim along the edge. It's a feature of this cutting method and gives the motif a clear outline. The edges are smooth and the finish is clean, so paint and glue stick well. Every cutout is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural material. Its shade and grain vary from piece to piece, and small knots may occur. This makes every tiger head one of a kind and is not a defect.

How to use the tiger head
- Crafting with children: every child paints their own tiger. At the end of the afternoon, everyone proudly takes their own artwork home.
- For a themed party: thread several tiger heads in different sizes onto a string. Your jungle garland is up in a few minutes.
- In the children's room: a large tiger on the door, painted and with the child's name written on it. Now the room has its own heraldic animal.
- As a gift tag: a small tiger on the parcel for an animal lover. The present brings a smile even before it's unwrapped.
- At nursery, school or in a craft group: with a set of 10, 25, 50 or 100, you have identical blanks for the whole group. No need to saw them out yourself.
- In the shop window or at a market stall: tiger silhouettes for a zoo promotion or a children's week. Quick to arrange and just as quick to take down.
Good to know about tigers
In many Asian cultures, the tiger is a symbol of courage and strength. It even has its own year in the Chinese zodiac. That's why the motif works not only for jungle decorations and children's birthdays. It also makes a small message of encouragement, for example for a child's first day at school or the start of the school year.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do. The plywood is untreated and stays in good condition for a long time in dry indoor spaces. Avoid constant moisture. Or seal the tiger with paint, varnish or oil after decorating. Then your design stays exactly as you imagined it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the tiger head straight away? Yes. The wood is untreated and neither varnished nor stained. Paints, varnishes, oils and glue stick directly to the surface.
How tall is the tiger head at the width I choose? Height and width are the same. At a width of 10 cm, the cutout is also 10 cm tall.
Why is the edge brown? The cutout is laser-cut. The fine brown rim is typical of this cutting method. It also gives you smooth edges.
Does every tiger head look the same? The shape is identical. Wood is a natural material, though, so the shade and grain differ. Small knots are normal and make every piece one of a kind.
Is the tiger head available in larger quantities? Yes. Besides single pieces, you can order sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100. Handy for groups, schools and events.
Picture the finished, painted tiger hanging on the children's room door. And you know: nobody else has this one. Just choose your size and get started.
