Why this table tennis bat makes a difference
A ready-cut motif saves you the tedious preparation. You can go straight to the fun part: decorating. Table decorations for the team party, a gift tag for the coach or wall decoration in the hobby room – the clear silhouette is instantly recognisable as a table tennis bat. It makes the theme clear at a glance. With paint, a pen or stickers, a simple wooden cutout becomes a piece you've designed yourself.
Material & finish
The bat is made from 3 mm plywood and laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck. That's where the typical brown edge comes from. It gives the silhouette a fine outline. The edges are smooth and the finish is clean. So the motif feels nice in your hand and is easy to work with. Wood is a natural material. Every piece has its own shade and grain and may have small knots. This makes every bat unique and is not a defect.

How to use the table tennis bat
- Crafting with children: each child paints their own bat. In the end, a colourful garland full of little works of art hangs in the room.
- For a club anniversary or tournament: a motif with writing at every place. The table decoration shows at once what the evening is about.
- As a base for money gifts: roll up a note and stick it on the bat. And you have a voucher you've designed yourself for the table tennis fan.
- In a sports shop or clubhouse: several bats in different sizes in the window or on the wall. The display looks planned rather than thrown together.
- As table scatter or gift tags in small sizes: tie one to a parcel. The recipient can guess what's inside before unwrapping it.
Good to know about the table tennis bat
Among table tennis players in Germany, “Kelle” is the affectionate slang name for the bat. Anyone who talks about their bat this way usually loves the sport. That's why the motif works so well for personal gifts, club decorations and small gestures. They show that someone has thought of the player.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. As the wood is untreated, it's best to keep the bat dry and protect it from constant moisture. If you paint, oil or varnish it, you give the surface extra protection. Your decoration will then look good for a long time.
