Why this wooden trumpet makes a difference
A consistent motif ties table decorations, invitations and gifts together into one whole. And that is easiest with a shape people recognise. Instead of spending ages looking for matching decorations, you have a basic shape. You can match it to your colour scheme in just a few minutes. That way, your concert evening, music school celebration or birthday serenade looks lovingly prepared. And you don't have to spend hours decorating.
Material & finish
The trumpet is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical brown edge. The edge frames the motif and saves you from sanding the edges. The wood is untreated, not varnished or glazed. That is why it takes paint, glue or oil well. Every cutout is made with clean workmanship in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural material, so brightness and grain vary from piece to piece. Small knots may occur. That is exactly what makes each piece one of a kind, and it is not a defect.

How to use the wooden trumpet
- Crafting money gifts: Attach the banknote to the cutout, add a greeting – and a plain envelope becomes a gift that suits the musician.
- Crafting with children: Each child paints their own trumpet – and takes a self-designed keepsake home from the birthday party or music school day.
- Concerts and club celebrations: A motif at every seat or on the invitation – and your guests are in the mood as soon as they sit down.
- Making Christmas decorations: Painted in a small size and hung up, the trumpet becomes an ornament on a branch or a gift.
- For music schools, music shops or cafés with live music: As an element in the shop window or on the counter, the silhouette announces the next music night – quick to set up and reusable as often as you like.
Good to know about the trumpet
The trumpet is one of the oldest instruments of all and was already used in antiquity as a signalling and ceremonial instrument – to this day, fanfares open festive occasions. That's exactly why the motif suits anniversaries, concerts and award ceremonies at the music society so well: it has always stood for a festive opening.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do: store the untreated cutouts in a dry place and protect them from prolonged moisture, and they'll keep their shape for a long time. If you paint or oil the wood, you seal the surface as well – so your decorations will last through many occasions.

Frequently asked questions
Is the wood treated? No, the cutouts are untreated, neither varnished nor glazed – you can paint, glue, coat or oil them straight away.
Where does the brown edge come from? It's created during laser cutting and is typical of this cutting method – it leaves the edges smooth, so they don't need sanding.
Why do the cutouts look different? Wood is a natural material: shade, grain and small knots vary from piece to piece – this makes every cutout unique.
Are there quantity options for larger projects? Yes, as well as single pieces, you can choose sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 – handy for club celebrations, school classes or shop decorations.
In the end, it's not about a wooden cutout. It's about the moment your guests discover the little trumpet at their seat and immediately feel that this evening belongs to music. Simply choose your size and quantity – the rest you design your way.
