The sign is made of 3 mm plywood. It is laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck. That's where the smooth edges and the brown border come from. The wood is untreated and takes paint, glue and oil well. You're free to design it however you like. As a natural material, every sign is one of a kind. The grain may be lighter or darker. Small knots or slight irregularities are part of it. That's what makes each piece unique.
