The table is set for a wine tasting with friends. Only a matching wooden detail is missing between the glasses and candles. A wooden vine leaf fits easily between the glasses and candles. Its flat, leaf-shaped silhouette in light natural wood rounds off the table. Use it as ready-made vine leaf decoration or as a blank to paint and stick things on. The laser-cut leaf from our own production in Pößneck is made for your table.

What changes for you

  • You can decorate a table, shelf or shop window in just a few moves. The vine leaf silhouette already works in plain natural wood and needs no further finishing.
  • You can design the leaf exactly the way you imagine – because the untreated plywood can be painted, decorated with paper, varnished or oiled.
  • You'll find the right size for every project – thanks to a choice from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • You don't need to sand or touch anything up before painting your vine leaf – because the laser-cut edges are smooth and cleanly cut.
  • You can kit out larger craft groups or parties with no extra effort – with sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces.

Why this wooden vine leaf makes a difference every day

Natural materials bring a calm to a room that printed or plastic decorations rarely achieve. The wooden vine leaf fits into autumnal table settings just as well as a lovingly presented cheese board or a harvest festival arrangement. And because you choose the size and design yourself, you end up with decorations that truly suit your home or your occasion – rather than a catalogue picture.

Material & finish

The vine leaf is laser-cut from 3 mm thick plywood and has the typical, finely browned edge – a feature that gives the leaf extra definition. The edges are smooth and the finish is clean, so you can start creating right away. The wood is left untreated, meaning it is neither varnished nor glazed: paints, glues and oils adhere particularly well to it. As a purely natural material, every leaf shows its own shade and grain, small knots included – which is exactly what makes each piece unique. It is made by Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use your vine leaf

  • At an autumn dinner: a small leaf at every place, written by hand – and your guests find their seats with a smile.
  • On a crafting afternoon: children paint the leaves in shades of red and gold – and the window gets a homemade autumn garland.
  • On a wine rack or home bar, a large vine leaf brings order to your bottle collection. It gives the bottles a calm focal point.
  • In a wine shop, café or at a wine festival: leaves in different sizes spread across the counter and poseur tables – and the display looks well thought out without the set-up taking any time.
  • In floristry and wreath making: the flat leaf worked into arrangements or door wreaths – and the design gets a long-lasting, natural addition.

Good to know about the vine leaf

The vine leaf has always stood for winegrowing, harvest time and good company – in wine regions, vine foliage traditionally decorates festivals and seasonal wine taverns. That's why the motif suits not only autumn decorations but also wine tastings, harvest festival and any gathering where a good glass is on the table.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do: stored in a dry place, the untreated wood keeps its natural look for a long time. Avoid prolonged moisture – if you want to use the leaf outdoors, you can paint or oil it beforehand to protect the surface.

Frequently asked questions

Can I paint the vine leaf or stick things on it? Yes. The plywood is untreated, so paints, varnishes, oils and glues adhere directly to the surface.

Why does the leaf have a brown edge? The edge is created during laser cutting and is part of the typical look – the edges are still smooth and clean.

Do all the leaves look the same? The shape is identical, but wood as a natural material is not: shade, grain and small knots vary, making every leaf unique.

Is the vine leaf suitable for outdoor use? Untreated, it is intended for indoor use. For outdoor use, you should paint or oil it beforehand.

In the end, it's not about a piece of plywood. It's about the moment your guests discover the little hand-decorated leaves on the laid table – and the evening feels special before the first glass is poured. Simply choose your size and quantity and get started.
