The silhouette is made of 3 mm poplar plywood. It is laser-cut in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is cleanly finished with smooth edges that won’t get in your way while crafting. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. That is why it takes paint, glue or oil well. As a natural material, it shows different shades, fine structures in the grain and occasionally small knots. This makes every piece unique.
