The craft table is set. Paints and brushes are ready. And in the middle, a wooden zebra is waiting to be painted, decorated or simply stood up. Crafting with children, decorating a nursery or dressing a shop window? This wooden zebra fits your next project. You choose the size and we laser it. The rest is up to you.

What changes for you

  • You get exactly the size you need – the zebra can be ordered from 5 cm to 50 cm wide in 1 cm steps.
  • You can start painting, gluing or oiling straight away. The plywood is untreated and takes paint well.
  • Your zebra already looks lifelike before you paint it. Fine contour lines mark the face and stripes on the top.
  • There's no need to sand the edges. The laser cut leaves smooth edges that won't hurt anyone.
  • Larger projects are easy to supply too. The zebra comes single or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces.

Why this wooden zebra makes a difference in everyday life

A shop-bought decoration looks the same in every home. A wooden zebra you design yourself shows your own style. You decide whether it gets classic stripes, bright colours or stays natural. That's what makes it a piece that really suits your home. And when children join in, you get an afternoon together that everyone remembers.

Material & finish

The zebra is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical brown edge and a handmade look. The top has the contour lines. The underside is left natural. The wood is untreated, not varnished or stained. So you can paint, decorate or oil it however you like. Every piece is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a natural material. It can be lighter or darker and may show small knots or irregularities in the grain. That makes every piece one of a kind.

How to use the wooden zebra

  • Crafting with children: each child paints their own zebra. In the end, a whole herd stands on the windowsill and everyone is proud of it.
  • For the nursery: a few zebras in different sizes on the wall or shelf bring a touch of safari into the room.
  • As a gift tag or card decoration: put a small zebra on the parcel and your gift stands out before it's even unwrapped.
  • In a shop or shop window: with sets from 10 pieces, you can decorate counters, displays or theme weeks in a uniform way. They're quick to set up and easy to change again.
  • For nurseries, schools and craft groups: the 1 cm steps make it easy to order the right size for every age group.

Good to know about plywood

Plywood is made of several layers of wood glued crosswise. This makes it much more stable than a simple board of the same thickness. For you, this means even the 3 mm thin zebra stays flat. You can paint it, stand it up or hang it without it warping.

Care & durability

There isn't much you need to do. The wood is untreated, so it doesn't like constant moisture. Stood or hung somewhere dry, it keeps its shape and look for a long time. If you paint or oil it, you protect the surface even more and choose the look at the same time.

Options & what's included

  • Width freely selectable from 5 cm to 50 cm, in 1 cm steps
  • Available singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100
  • Supplied untreated and natural – paints and decorating materials are not included

Frequently asked questions

Can I paint or decorate the zebra? Yes. The plywood is untreated, neither varnished nor stained. You can paint it, oil it, decorate it or use it as it is.

Why does the zebra have a brown edge? The shape is laser-cut. This creates the typical brown edge with smooth sides. It's a feature of laser cutting, not a fault.

Are both sides designed? No. The contour lines with face and stripes are on the top. The underside is left natural.

Do all zebras look exactly the same? The shape does, the wood doesn't. As a natural material, it varies in shade and may show small knots or patterns in the grain. Every piece is one of a kind.

How tall is the zebra at a certain width? As a guide: at 10 cm wide, it is approx. 8 cm high. The other sizes scale accordingly.

What matters is more than a wooden cutout. It's the moment the painted zebra herd stands on the shelf and you think: we made that ourselves. Just choose your size – single or as a set – and get started.
