Saturday afternoon, and the craft table is set: paints, brushes, curious little hands. All that's missing is a design that makes everyone want to get started. That's exactly what this zebra wooden cutout is made for. It's a clear plywood silhouette with the face and stripes already finely marked. All you have to do is decorate it – and the raw wood becomes your very own zebra.

What changes for you

  • You can start painting straight away, with no need to sketch first. The zebra's outlines are already etched into the top surface.
  • You can decorate the wood exactly as you like – cover it, paint it or oil it. The wood is natural and untreated.
  • You'll find the right size for every project, from a small hanging decoration to a large wall piece. The width can be chosen from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • When crafting with children or in a group, you'll have enough for everyone. The zebra is also available in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
  • You can work comfortably and safely. The laser-cut edges are smooth and the finish is clean.

Why this zebra wooden cutout makes a difference day to day

A ready-made blank takes care of the most time-consuming part for you: sawing and sketching. That leaves more time for the fun part – creating, trying things out and decorating together. In a child's bedroom, on a birthday table or in a shop window: the zebra is quick to paint, cover or decorate in other ways. So it fits into lots of different decorations.

Material & finish

The zebra is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical brown edge, which frames the silhouette and defines its shape. The top shows the face and stripes as fine etched lines. The underside is left plain. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor stained. That's why paints, glues and oils adhere reliably. As a natural material, wood is never completely uniform. Variations in shade, small knots and differences in the grain are part of it and make every piece unique. Every zebra comes from our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

  • In a child's bedroom: combine several sizes on the wall. The empty space turns into a little safari scene.
  • At a children's birthday or zoo-themed party: put a zebra at every place as table decoration or a party favour. The little guests get a keepsake to take home.

Frequently asked questions

Can I paint or cover the zebra? Yes. The wood is untreated and in its natural state. You can paint it, cover it, oil it or decorate it however you like.

Why does the cutout have a brown edge? The zebra is laser-cut. The brown edge forms naturally during this process and is typical of it. It emphasises the silhouette.

Are the outlines on both sides? No. The face and stripes are only etched on the top. The underside is left plain.

Do all cutouts look the same? The shape is always identical, but the wood isn't. As a natural material, it shows variations in shade, fine textures and small knots. Every piece is unique.

A piece of plywood is just the start. At the craft table, a plain blank turns into a striped favourite – painted by you or your children. Just choose your size and quantity, and the herd can grow.
