The silhouette is laser-cut from 3 mm poplar plywood. This creates the typical brown edge that neatly frames the shape. The edges are smooth and the finish is clean, so you can start creating right away. The wood is left untreated, with no varnish or glaze. Paints, glues and oils adhere well, and the rough, light wood surface stays visible. As a natural material, every piece has its own shade and fine grain, and sometimes small knots. That is what makes each silhouette unique. The cedar cone is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
