- You can start painting, decorating or oiling straight away. The wood is untreated. It takes paint, glue and oil well.
- Your result looks neat without any sanding. That's thanks to the smooth, laser-cut edges.
- With sets, you get a uniform look for garlands, table decorations or shop displays. All cutouts are made in exactly the same shape.
- What you are holding is a piece of honest craftsmanship. It was made in Bütic's own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
Why this wooden lemon makes a difference every day
A wooden cutout makes your decorations feel warmer than printed paper or plastic can. The lemon looks fresh and summery without being too much. Use it in the window, on the laid table or on a garland. And because you design it yourself, it ends up matching your home rather than a catalogue picture.
Material & finish
The lemon is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood and has the typical fine brown edge. This edge is a sign of clean laser work. It also gives the silhouette extra definition. The edges are smooth and the finish is careful. You can pick up the cutouts and work on them straight away. The wood stays natural: untreated, not varnished, not glazed. As a natural material, each piece has its own shade and grain. Occasionally, you'll see small knots. That makes every cutout one of a kind and is not a defect.

How to use the wooden lemon
- Crafting with children: Each child paints their own lemon. In the end, a colourful summer garland hangs in the children's room. Everyone is proud of it.
- On the summer table: Scatter small lemons between plates and napkins. Your table gets a Mediterranean feel with very little effort.
- As a gift tag: Write a name on a small lemon and tie it to the ribbon. That way, even the wrapping looks lovingly made.
- In a café or at the ice cream counter: Paint large lemons and place them in the shop window or on the counter. Your lemonade, ice cream or summer offer will stand out from afar.
- At the weekly market: Use the cutouts as price tags or decoration on your stall. They're quick to set up and easy to store whatever the weather. You can use them again and again.
Good to know about the lemon
Few fruits stand for freshness, summer and Mediterranean ease like the lemon. You instantly think of sunshine, lemonade and the south. That's why the motif works so well as decoration for the kitchen, a summer party, a garden party or seasonal shop displays. It creates a bright, friendly feeling before anyone even looks closely.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do. Stored in a dry place, the untreated cutouts keep their natural look for a long time. Avoid constant moisture, as the wood is raw. If you want to use the lemon outdoors or in the kitchen, you can paint, oil or varnish it. This protects the surface for longer.

Frequently asked questions
Is the wood treated? No, the cutouts are left natural. They are neither varnished nor glazed. You can stick things on them, paint, coat or oil them, just as your project needs.
Where does the brown edge come from? The lemon is laser-cut. This creates the typical dark edge along the cut. It gives you smooth edges and brings out the silhouette.
Do all cutouts look the same? The shape is identical, but the wood isn't. As a natural material, it varies in shade. The grain may show small irregularities or knots. That makes every piece unique.
Which size suits which purpose? Small sizes from 3 cm are good for table scatter, tags and cards. Medium sizes work for garlands and table decorations. Large sizes up to 50 cm suit window decorations or shop windows.
Can I decorate the lemon with children? Yes. The smooth, laser-cut edges are pleasant to handle. The untreated surface takes craft paints and watercolours easily.
Picture your home-made lemon garland hanging in the window. The whole room feels a little more like summer. Just choose your size and quantity – and get started.
