Material & finish

The comb is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives smooth edges with the typical brown laser edge, which gives the shape a handmade look. The wood is completely natural, neither varnished nor glazed. You can paint it, oil it or stick things on it. Every cutout is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a natural material, so every piece turns out a little differently. Shade, grain and small knots vary. This makes each comb one of a kind – it is not a flaw.
