Why this wooden ambulance makes a difference
With a ready-made wooden motif, your craft project starts with the fun part: decorating. Children get a sense of achievement, because the shape is already right. All that's missing is colour and imagination. As finished decoration, the little ambulance is real wood, unlike printed cardboard figures.
Material & finish
The ambulance is laser-cut from 3 mm poplar plywood. It is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. Laser cutting creates smooth edges with the typical brown rim. This is part of the process and gives the motif a clear outline. The wood is unfinished, neither varnished nor stained, so it takes paint well. As a natural material, every piece is unique. Brightness and grain vary, and small knots may occur. That is simply how real wood is.

- As table scatter or card decoration: stick the small sizes onto cards or gifts. Your greeting has a theme straight away.
- For surgeries, ambulance stations or club events: with the sets, you can decorate a counter, information table or raffle in a uniform way with little effort.
Good to know about the ambulance
The word "ambulance" goes back to the Latin "ambulare", meaning to walk about. It originally referred to mobile field hospitals that came to the wounded. This idea of help on the move still lives on in the ambulance today. That makes the motif a good fit for craft projects about the emergency services, first aid and get-well-soon greetings.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. Store the unfinished cutout in a dry place and avoid constant moisture. That way the wood keeps its shape and light colour. You can also protect the surface with paint, varnish or oil, depending on your project.
