Flag herb markers, black – acrylic, weatherproof

In spring, everything in the herb bed still looks the same. And by watering time at the latest, you wonder whether that's oregano or marjoram. These flag-shaped plant markers in black acrylic give every bed, planter and window box a clear name. The plain black flag with light grey engraving is so understated, it looks as if it were made for your herb bed.

What changes for you

• You can recognise every plant at a glance – thanks to the laser-engraved light grey lettering on a black background.
• You can leave the markers outside all year round – because acrylic is weatherproof and frost-proof.
• Your labels stay readable for good – the UV-stable engraving doesn't fade, even outdoors.
• No rust marks or stains in your bed – unlike metal markers, acrylic doesn't rust.
• You can label unusual varieties too. With the “Pflanzen Wunschname” (custom name) option, we engrave your own text or send you blank markers.

Why these plant labels make a difference every day

A bed with matching, easy-to-read markers looks tidy and well cared for straight away. And it takes hardly any effort. You no longer have to guess where each herb is. Guests and children can find their way around the garden too. The simple black flag blends quietly into the green. It doesn't push itself to the front.

Material & finish

The plant markers are made of acrylic (PLEXIGLAS^®). This material stands up to rain, frost and sun for years without rusting or discolouring. Each marker is laser cut and engraved in our own production in Pößneck. This means the lettering sits permanently in the material and can't flake off. Due to the material, all plant names appear in light grey. This gives a calm contrast that stays easy to read from a little distance.

How to use the plant labels

• In the herb bed: basil, thyme and rosemary each get their own little flag. When you cook, you reach for the right herb without hesitating.
• In the window box: one small marker per pot, and your balcony looks like a well-kept mini garden.
• In the raised bed with children: each child labels “their” row – from radishes to sugar snap peas. Then they proudly watch what grows there.
• As a gift idea: a herb pot with an engraved marker or a custom name makes a personal present for garden and cooking fans.
• For businesses: in nurseries, farm shops or at the weekly market, the markers label your herbs and young plants consistently. Customers find what they're looking for straight away. And the markers last through every season.

Good to know: acrylic glass in the garden

Acrylic is considered one of the most UV-resistant plastics of all. It doesn't yellow in sunlight. That's why it has been used outdoors for decades. This is exactly what makes it the right material for bed markers that stay outside summer and winter.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. The herb markers can stay outdoors permanently, as rain, frost and sun can't harm the acrylic. There's no rust and no discolouration. The UV-stable engraving stays clearly readable over the years.
