Acrylic plant markers, gallows-style garden stakes, weatherproof

The herbs are sown and the seedlings planted. Two weeks later you can no longer tell where the chives end and the parsley begins. An acrylic plant marker in gallows style makes it clear. The swinging sign labels your bed for good. It also keeps hungry birds away from your seeds. Made for your garden: discreet, easy to read and at home outdoors in any weather.

What changes for you

• You can see at a glance what is growing where. The white laser engraving on clear acrylic is easy to read.
• Your seeds are better protected. The sign hangs from stainless steel rings and moves in the wind, working like a small scarecrow.
• You don't need to collect the markers in autumn. They are weatherproof, frost-proof and stay in the bed all year.
• Your bed looks tidy rather than cluttered. The clear material stays in the background and keeps the focus on your plants.
• You get exactly the label you need. Many plant names are available to choose from. Custom names are possible with the “Custom plant name” option.

Why this plant sign makes a difference every day

Labelled beds make gardening more relaxed. No guessing when watering. No pulling up the wrong seedlings by mistake. No faded paper labels that are unreadable after the first rain. The clear sign blends quietly into the greenery instead of distracting from it. And its gentle movement in the wind keeps birds away from your seeds. Your garden looks organised without constant touching up.

Material & finish

The sign is made of PLEXIGLAS^® (acrylic glass). It does not rust, does not discolour and withstands rain and frost without damage. The white engraving is made by laser and is UV-stable. So it won't fade, even after years in the sun. The rectangular sign hangs from two stainless steel rings. They are just as weather-resistant as the acrylic itself. Every plant marker is made in Bütic's own production in Pößneck, with precise laser engraving on branded acrylic.

How to use the plant sign

• In the herb bed: every variety gets its own sign. When cooking, you reach for the right herb straight away.
• In the window box: as a flower marker, it shows you what is growing, even with young plants. This helps most in the first weeks, when seedlings still look alike.
• After sowing: the sign swings in the wind and keeps birds away from freshly sown vegetables. Your seeds can come up undisturbed.
• As a garden marker in planters and raised beds: guests can see straight away what you are growing. A small detail that often gets people talking.
• In nurseries, farm shops or at the weekly market: clearly labelled herb pots make choosing easier for your customers. And you spend less time explaining at your stall.

Good to know about scarecrows

Gardeners have used movement to keep birds away for centuries. From the classic straw figure to fluttering ribbons in fruit trees. The gallows-style plant marker uses exactly this principle. The sign hangs freely from rings and moves with every breeze. So it does two jobs at once: it labels your bed and protects your seeds.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. The sign can stay outside all year, because acrylic and stainless steel stand up to rain, sun and frost. If it gets muddy, simply wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. That keeps the engraving clearly legible.

Options & what's included

• Many common plant names are available. Due to the material, all are engraved in white.
• For a custom name or a blank sign, choose the “Custom plant name” option.

Can I have my own text engraved? Yes. Just choose the “Custom plant name” option. Custom names and blank signs are available there.
