Neon green plant markers, wooden board look – acrylic glass

You put the first herbs into the window box and water them. Three weeks later you can no longer tell where the lemon thyme ends and the oregano begins. These acrylic glass plant markers in a wooden board look help you keep track. The neon green, transparent markers glow bright green at the edges. They are made for your herb garden.

What changes for you

• You can find every plant at a glance. The name is permanently laser-engraved into the marker. Due to the material, it shows in bright green and stays easy to read.
• The fluorescent acrylic glass collects incoming UV light. It releases it again at the edges as a bright glow. This works in sunshine, under cloud and even at early dusk.
• You can simply leave the markers outside. Acrylic glass is weatherproof and frost-proof. It doesn't rust and doesn't discolour.
• You never have to touch up faded labels again. The engraving is UV-stable and doesn't fade outdoors either.
• You can label unusual varieties too. Besides many ready-made plant names, we can engrave your own name into the marker on request.

Why these plant labels make a difference every day

Paper labels smudge, wooden sticks turn grey, plastic tags blow away in the first gust of wind. And in the end you're guessing again what's growing there. A permanently engraved plant marker saves you this search. Every plant has its name. Every bed looks tidy and well cared for. And when light falls on the surface and the edges glow bright green, you'll find yourself looking twice.

Material & finish

The markers are made of fluorescent branded acrylic glass (PLEXIGLAS^®) in a wooden board look. The familiar board shape meets a material that easily handles wind, rain and frost. Acrylic glass neither rusts nor discolours. So the plant markers still look fresh after years in the bed. They are made and laser-engraved in our own production in Pößneck. We guarantee you a clean, precise laser engraving on branded acrylic.

How to use the plant labels

• In the herb bed: basil, rosemary and chives marked side by side. When you cook, you reach for the right herb straight away.
• In the window box or planter bowl: one marker per pot. Guests on your balcony also know straight away what's growing here.
• In the vegetable patch: tomatoes, courgettes and radishes marked before the seeds come up. So you won't mix anything up while watering and weeding.
• As a gift for the gardening season: a set engraved with chosen names. The gardener receiving it gets something no DIY store has on offer.
• In a farm shop or at the weekly market: young plants clearly labelled on display. Your customers find the variety they want on their own. And the markers stand up to wind and weather.

Good to know about fluorescent acrylic glass

Fluorescent acrylic glass works like a light collector. The surface absorbs incoming UV radiation. It carries it through the material and releases it at the edges as a visible glow. That's why these plant markers glow without power or batteries. Outside in the bed, where daylight falls on them anyway, the effect is at its strongest.

Care & durability

There isn't much you need to do. The markers can stay in the bed all year round. Acrylic glass is weatherproof, frost-proof and UV-stable. There's no rust and no discolouration. The engraving doesn't fade even in constant sun. So the glow and the lettering stay as clear as on the first day for a long time.
