PLEXIGLAS^® plant labels, black wood-board look

You stroll through your bed in the morning, pick a few leaves for the kitchen – and know straight away whether you're holding lemon balm or lemon thyme. Wood-board look plant labels in black acrylic bring exactly that kind of clarity to your herb bed, window box or planter – and look as if they were made just for your garden. Every label is laser-engraved and stays easy to read outdoors for the long term.

What changes for you

• You can spot every plant at a glance – thanks to the light grey engraved names that stand out clearly against the black label.
• No gathering them up in autumn, no replacing them in spring – the labels are weatherproof and frost-resistant, so they can stay outside all year round.
• Your garden bed looks neat, and you don't have to do any crafting. The wooden board look fits in well among herbs, vegetables and flowers.
• You'll still read the names effortlessly years from now – the engraving doesn't fade, because the acrylic is UV-stable.
• You can label rare varieties or your own cultivars too – with the "Pflanzen Wunschname" (custom name) option, we engrave your text onto the label.

Why these plant labels make a difference every day

A bed with labelled plants is about more than tidiness: you water, harvest and plan in a more relaxed way, because you don't have to guess what's growing where. Guests love to stop at the herb bed when every plant has its own name label – and you can tell them what's new this year along the way. That's how a collection of green pots becomes a garden with character.

Material & finish

The plant markers are made of black acrylic glass (PLEXIGLAS^®). For you, this means no rust, no discolouration and no weathering like real wood. The wooden board shape gives you the natural look of a small board and the durability of the material. Each marker is laser engraved in Bütic's own production in Pößneck. The engraving is done on branded acrylic, with clean light grey lettering that stays legible for good.

• In cafés, farm shops or at the weekly market: potted herbs and young plants are clearly labelled – your customers find their way around straight away, and your display looks well thought out.

Good to know about acrylic glass

PLEXIGLAS^® is the registered brand name for acrylic glass, developed in Germany in the 1930s. The material is naturally UV-resistant and weather-stable – which is exactly why it's so well suited to labels that stay out in the bed permanently, where wood would weather and metal would rust.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do: the labels can stay outdoors all year round, as frost, rain and sun can't harm the acrylic. If soil splashes onto them, simply wipe it off – the engraved lettering isn't affected and stays legible for the long term.
