Material & finish

We make every puzzle piece ourselves at Bütic, in our own production in Pößneck. We laser-cut them from PLEXIGLAS^®. The cast acrylic glass (GS) is around 3 mm thick. It keeps its shape and does not warp. The laser-cut edges are cleanly cut. Once you peel off the protective film, you see the glossy cream surface. It is completely opaque, yet lets a little light through with 27 % translucency. In front of a light source, this creates a warm glow.
