A money gift for a wedding, a photo wall in the hallway or a crafting afternoon with the kids – sometimes all that's missing is the one piece that connects everything. This green PLEXIGLAS® puzzle cutout is made for exactly that. It's a laser-cut puzzle piece made of acrylic glass. You can paint it, stick things on it, write on it or fit it together with other pieces to make something bigger. That way, an idea becomes a gift or a decoration that looks as if it were made for your occasion.

What changes for you

  • You design freely in the size you want. The puzzle piece is available from 3 cm to 50 cm wide in 1 cm steps, from a small tag to a large wall piece.
  • Your craft project lasts longer than one afternoon. Unlike paper or card, the cast acrylic glass is sturdy and can be reused again and again.
  • You can fit several pieces together without gaps. All puzzle pieces of the same size interlock seamlessly, for example for guest books, group activities or large designs.
  • Your piece arrives in perfect condition. The protective film keeps the glossy surface free from scratches until you first use it.
  • You can decorate outdoors too. The material is weatherproof, frost-resistant and UV-stable, so the green colour lasts in the garden or in a shop window.

Why this PLEXIGLAS® puzzle piece makes a difference every day

Whether you're making a money gift, designing a name sign or creating a keepsake for the wedding guests – a puzzle piece tells a story of togetherness without many words. The piece is opaque and a strong green. So your design looks calm and clear, and the background doesn't show through. And because you can use it again and again, the same piece goes with you from a craft session with children to seasonal decorations in your shop.

Material & finish

Bütic makes every puzzle piece from PLEXIGLAS® in our own production in Pößneck, using lasers. Laser cutting gives clean, precise edges. That's why pieces of the same size fit together seamlessly, with no finishing needed. The cast acrylic glass (GS) is approx. 3 mm thick and feels solid in your hand. It copes well with being put together and taken apart often. Once you peel off the protective film, you'll see the glossy surface. It's easy to paint and stick things on.

How to use the puzzle cutout

  • For money gifts: stick banknotes onto several interlocking pieces. The bride and groom then put their gift together piece by piece.
  • Crafting with children: each child designs their own piece. In the end, you get a shared picture that stays up in the children's room or classroom.
  • In model making: use the dimensionally stable acrylic piece as a building element or decorative part. It keeps its shape where paper would have warped long ago.
  • As a guest book alternative at your party: every guest writes on a piece. Later you put the memories together into one whole.
  • In a shop or café: write on pieces to use as price tags or promotion signs. Weatherproof and UV-stable, they last in the shop window or at an outdoor stand.

Good to know about puzzles

The jigsaw puzzle was invented in 18th-century England. The mapmaker John Spilsbury cut up maps to teach children geography. To this day, a single puzzle piece stands for the idea that it takes many pieces to make a whole. That's why it works so well for group gifts, weddings, farewells at work and any occasion that celebrates togetherness.

Care & durability

There isn't much you need to do. Only peel off the protective film when you start designing. That way, the glossy surface stays scratch-free until then. A soft cloth is all you need for cleaning. The acrylic glass is weatherproof, frost-resistant and UV-stable. So you can leave your decoration outdoors permanently without the colour suffering.

Options & what's included

  • Width of your choice: 3 cm to 50 cm, in 1 cm steps
  • Available singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces
  • Every puzzle piece comes with protective film so it doesn't get scratched

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the puzzle piece outdoors? Yes. The acrylic glass is weatherproof, frost-resistant and UV-stable. So it's also suitable for the garden, balcony or outdoor decorations.

Is the puzzle piece see-through? No, it's completely opaque. Light transmission is only 12% translucency, so your design looks clear and rich.

Do several pieces fit together? Yes. All puzzle pieces of the same size fit into each other seamlessly – ideal for large designs or group activities.

How big is the piece overall? As a reference: if you choose a width of 10 cm, the height including the tabs is also 10 cm.

How glossy is the surface? Once you remove the protective film, the surface is glossy. It's a smooth base for painting, sticking things on or writing.

What counts is the moment the last piece clicks into place. With a money gift, at the craft table or on the wall in your hallway. Just choose your width and quantity. You design the rest.
