Every piece is made from PLEXIGLAS^® in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The square comes with a protective film. Peel it off once you've finished working, and the glossy surface appears.

PLEXIGLAS^® was developed in Germany in the 1930s. Ever since, it has been regarded as a light, break-resistant alternative to glass. Cast acrylic doesn't turn yellow in sunlight. That's why this blue square is also suitable for projects that hang or stand outdoors permanently.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Simply leave the protective film on the sheet until you've finished your work. That way, the glossy surface stays free of scratches. As the material is weatherproof, frost-resistant and UV-stable, the square keeps its colour even when used outdoors permanently.

Is the blue square see-through? No, it is largely opaque. Light transmission is only 5% translucency.
