Good to know about cast acrylic

Cast acrylic glass (GS) is made by letting the material harden between sheets – unlike extruded material. This makes it particularly dimensionally stable and easy to work: you can drill, file and glue the triangles without the material cracking easily. That's exactly why GS acrylic glass is the preferred choice for model making and creative projects.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do: simply leave the protective film on the cutout until your project is finished, and the glossy surface will stay undamaged while you work. Outdoors, the triangles keep their colour thanks to their UV stability – even after many sunny days.

Are the cutouts suitable for outdoor use? Yes. The acrylic glass is weatherproof, frost-resistant and UV-stable – you can use it outdoors permanently.

Can you see through the triangles? No. All colours are opaque; depending on the colour, light transmission ranges from 0% (black) to 15% (yellow).

Are the angles really exact? Yes. The triangles are cut precisely square, so several pieces fit together perfectly.

Are other colours available? Yes. Grey, cream, clear transparent and opal are available on request.

How are the cutouts delivered? Every cutout is made as soon as your order comes in and is always shipped with protective film.
