Material & finish

Every disc is made from brand-name cast acrylic glass (GS). This makes it very sturdy, true to shape and reusable for a long time. The laser cuts give clean edges that need no finishing. Once you peel off the protective film, the glossy surface appears. The discs are made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. Our lasers cut each piece precisely, one by one.

How to use the oval discs

Care & durability

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the discs outdoors? Yes. The acrylic glass is weatherproof, frost-proof and UV-stable. It is suitable for decorations in the garden, in the window or on the balcony.

How see-through is dark grey transparent? The discs have a light transmission of 21 %. Light passes through in a muted way, and outlines behind the disc remain visible. It's similar to a tinted glass pane.

How do I work out the height of the oval disc? The shape has a 2:1 ratio. With a width of 10 cm, the disc is 5 cm high. So the height is always half the width.

Why is there a film on the disc? The protective film keeps the surface free from scratches during shipping and while you work. Once you peel it off, the glossy surface appears.
