Material & finish

The discs are made of branded cast acrylic (GS). This keeps them dimensionally stable and durable, even with frequent use. All cuts are laser-cut, so the edges are clean and even. Once you remove the protective film, you'll see the glossy surface. Paint and lettering show up clearly and with strong contrast on it. Every disc is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. We cut them on our lasers, piece by piece and with careful finishing.

Can I use the discs outdoors? Yes. The cast acrylic is weatherproof, frost-resistant and UV-stable. It's suitable for the garden, the balcony and outdoor decorations.

How tall is a disc for the width I choose? The ovals have a ratio of 2 to 1. At a width of 10 cm, the height is 5 cm.

Are the discs see-through? No, they are translucent with 12 % light transmission. Light shines through slightly, but you can't see clearly through them.

Will the discs arrive undamaged? Yes. Every disc has protective film on both sides, which you only peel off before use. Underneath is the glossy surface.
