Each hexagon is made from cast branded acrylic (GS). It is laser cut in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. The laser-cut edges are clean. Once you peel off the protective film, the surface is glossy. The material is completely opaque, yet with a translucency of 90 % it lets light through. That is ideal if you want your decorations to glow without being see-through. Being weatherproof, frost-resistant and UV-stable, the cutouts keep their shape and colour for a long time outdoors too.

Frequently asked questions

Is the hexagon see-through? No, it is completely opaque. With a translucency of 90 %, however, it lets plenty of light through. This makes it look soft and milky rather than clear.

Can I use the cutouts outdoors? Yes, the cast acrylic is weatherproof, frost-resistant and UV-stable. It is also suitable for permanent outdoor decorations.

Why is there a film on the cutout? The protective film keeps the surface free of scratches. Once you peel it off, the glossy side appears.
