The windows are clean and the Advent wreath is in place. But something is still missing to make the room glow. A PLEXIGLAS® star cutout in strong blue is made for moments like this. Hang it in the window, stick it on a card or use it in your craft project. Straight away, everything feels a little more festive. You choose any size between 3 and 50 cm. So the star suits an Advent calendar just as well as a large shop window.

What changes for you

  • You decorate with the same stars year after year instead of buying new ones each time. That's because the cast acrylic is very sturdy and can be reused again and again.
  • You can decorate freely indoors and outdoors, from window pictures to garden decorations. The material is weatherproof, frost-resistant and UV-stable.
  • Your decorations arrive free of scratches and in perfect condition. Every star is supplied with protective film.
  • You'll find the right size for every project, from small gift tags to large window stars. You choose the width in 1 cm steps between 3 and 50 cm.
  • No cutting or finishing needed. All edges are cleanly laser-cut and ready to use.

Why this PLEXIGLAS® star makes a difference every day

In the window, on the laid table or in a shop display: the rich blue stays in the background. It doesn't dominate the rest of your decorations. Instead of decorations that are worn out after one season, you have stars you can bring out again and again. And your Christmas crafts or model-making project gets a clean, even result from the start.

Material & finish

Every star is laser-cut from PLEXIGLAS® in Bütic's own production in Pößneck. The cast acrylic (GS) is approx. 3 mm thick. This keeps the stars rigid and durable, even if you rearrange them often. Once you peel off the protective film, you'll see a glossy surface that reflects light nicely. The laser-cut edges are clean, so there's no sanding needed. With a light transmission of 5 %, the blue looks strong and opaque. The star shows as a clear silhouette.

How to use the stars

  • Christmas crafts with children: stick small stars onto cards and presents. That way, every parcel under the tree is decorated by your own hands.
  • In the window or on the front door: hang a large blue star outside. Thanks to the weatherproof material, it keeps its shape and colour in frost and sun.
  • Model making: use precisely laser-cut outlines where clean edges matter. No cutting or finishing of your own needed.
  • For shops, cafés or market stalls: with a set of 10, 25, 50 or 100 stars, you can decorate your shop window and counter in a uniform style. They are quick to set up. After the season, simply pack them away and reuse them next year.
  • Making an Advent calendar: hang a small star on every little bag as a tag. The whole calendar then looks like a matching set.

Good to know about the star

The star is one of the oldest symbols of Christmas. As the Star of Bethlehem, it shows the way in the Christmas story. That's why it has decorated windows, treetops and nativity scenes for centuries. So it suits not only Advent decorations, but also Christmas cards, gift wrapping and festive shop window displays.

Care & durability

There isn't much to do: peel off the protective film, decorate, done. The acrylic is weatherproof, frost-resistant and UV-stable, so you can leave the stars outside. After the season, simply store them away. They can be reused again and again.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the stars outdoors? Yes, the acrylic is weatherproof, frost-resistant and UV-stable. The stars are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Why is there a film on the stars? The protective film keeps the surface from getting scratched in transit. Once you peel it off, the glossy surface is revealed.

Does light shine through the stars? Only a little: the light transmission is 5 %. So the blue looks strong and largely opaque.

How tall is a star at my chosen width? The height is slightly less than the width. For example, at a width of 10 cm the height is 9.51 cm.

Can I use the stars more than once? Yes, the cast acrylic is approx. 3 mm thick and very sturdy. It is made to be reused again and again.

In the evening, the lights come on and the blue stars in the window make your home feel festive. This year and for many years to come. Simply choose your size, individually or as a set.
