Each star is made of cast acrylic glass (GS), approx. 3 mm thick. This keeps it stable in shape and long-lasting, even if you hang it up and take it down often. All cuts are made by laser, so the edges are clean and even. Once you remove the protective film, you'll see the glossy surface. With a light transmission of 7 %, it lets a little light through. Bütic makes the stars on lasers in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
