The surface is glossy once you remove the protective film. Bütic makes the stars in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. So every cutout is made in Germany. Before shipping, it is covered with protective film so it reaches you undamaged.

Can I use the stars outdoors too? Yes. The acrylic glass is weatherproof, frost-resistant and UV-stable. The yellow colour lasts in sun and cold.

Do the stars let light through? Slightly. With a translucency of 15 %, light shimmers through softly. In front of a light source, the stars look especially lively.

Will the stars arrive scratched? No. Each star is supplied with protective film. Once you peel it off, you'll see the glossy surface.

How accurate are the dimensions? The size you choose refers to the width. At 10 cm wide, the height is 9.51 cm. All cuts are made by laser, so they are very precise.
