Material & finish

Every star is laser-cut from PLEXIGLAS^® in our own production in Pößneck. Laser cutting gives clean, even edges and precise points. Each piece looks just like the next, even in a large set. The cast acrylic glass (GS) is around 3 mm thick. It keeps its shape and doesn't break as easily as thin craft materials. Once you peel off the protective film, you'll see the glossy surface in strong light blue. With a translucency of 5 %, the star is largely opaque, so the colour looks rich.

Can I hang the stars outside too? Yes. The acrylic glass is weatherproof, frost-proof and UV-stable. The light blue colour won't fade, even in the sun.

Are the stars see-through? No. With a translucency of 5 %, they let very little light through. This makes the colour look rich and the stars largely opaque.

How are the stars delivered? Every star comes with a protective film so the glossy surface doesn't get scratched in transit. Simply peel it off before use.

How sturdy are the cutouts? The stars are made of cast acrylic glass (GS), approx. 3 mm thick. They keep their shape and can be reused for years.
