Every star is laser-cut from branded cast acrylic (GS) in our own production in Pößneck. This gives clean, even edges and a finish you can see and feel. The material is approx. 3 mm thick. It keeps its shape and can be reused again and again. You can hang it up, stick things on it or use it in model making. Once you peel off the protective film, the glossy surface appears. The acrylic is weatherproof, frost-resistant and UV-stable. So the star keeps its glow outdoors too.

Good to know about fluorescent acrylic glass

Fluorescent acrylic collects incoming light across its surface. It releases this light in concentrated form at the edges. That's why the edges look much brighter than the rest of the material. This effect makes the star well suited to window decorations and shop windows. The more daylight or lamplight hits the surface, the more strongly the outlines glow.
