Material & finish

Each star is laser cut from branded cast acrylic glass (GS). This gives clean, even edges and a solid decoration that keeps its shape. Once you peel off the protective film, the glossy surface shows. Bütic makes the stars in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. So every cutout is made on lasers in Germany.

How to use the star

Good to know about the star

Fluorescent acrylic glass collects incoming light inside the material and releases it concentrated at the edges. That is why the laser-cut edges of these stars glow so strongly, with no lighting at all. In the dark months, when candlelight or light from the window falls on the decoration, the cut edges light up especially clearly.
