Material & finish

Every star is made from cast acrylic glass (GS). This branded material is much sturdier than thin craft film and keeps its shape. Once you remove the protective film, you'll see a glossy surface that makes the orange glow brightly. Laser cutting gives clean contours and consistent workmanship. Every orange, glossy star is made in Bütic's own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

Good to know about acrylic glass

Acrylic glass is much lighter and more shatter-resistant than ordinary glass. That makes it well suited to decorations that hang, get moved or are within children's reach. So you can hang the stars in the window or pack and unpack them each season without worrying about broken glass.
