Good to know about PLEXIGLAS^®

PLEXIGLAS^® is not a generic term but a registered brand name. Acrylic glass was developed in Germany in the 1930s and became known under this name. Cast acrylic glass is considered the more dimensionally stable version of the material. That is exactly why it pays to choose the original if your sign or decoration needs to last for many years.

Can I use the sheets outdoors? Yes. The cast acrylic is weatherproof, frost-resistant and UV-stable, so it's also suitable for permanent outdoor use.

Are the sheets see-through? No, all eight colours are completely opaque. Light transmission ranges from 0 % (black) to 15 % (yellow) depending on the colour.

Does the sheet come with a protective film? Yes, every cut sheet is shipped with a protective film so that the glossy surface reaches you undamaged.

Are other colours available? Yes, grey, cream, clear transparent and opal are also available on request.
