They're ready for your next craft idea. Thread a ribbon through, tie it on, done. An everyday item becomes a lovingly made detail.
What changes for you
- You design labels and tags exactly the way you need them. The wood is untreated, so you can paint it, stick things on it, write on it or oil it.
- You can attach each square to a present, jar or buffet sign in seconds. The two holes are centred on two sides. Ribbon, string or wire fits through them.
- Your craft session with kids starts without any preparation. The edges are cleanly laser-cut and the corners are rounded.
- You choose the size to suit your project, from a small price tag to a door sign. Sizes go from 2 x 2 to 10 x 10 cm in 1 cm steps.
- You'll have enough for bigger projects too. There are sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces.
Why these wooden squares make a difference every day
A handwritten wooden tag feels different from a sticker: warmer, more personal, calmer. Use them on presents, on an Advent calendar or as name tags at a buffet. You can write on, paint and decorate these small squares of light plywood. The basic shape is simple, so it suits any occasion, from birthdays to Mother's Day to Christmas.
Material & finish
The squares are laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. That gives them their light surface and the typical brown edges, which look like a fine frame. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor stained. This means it takes paint, pens and glue well. Wood is a natural material, so every piece is unique. The grain may be lighter or darker, and small knots can occur. This is a feature of the wood, not a defect. The cutouts are made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the wooden squares
- When wrapping presents: write a name on it and pull a ribbon through the holes. Every parcel gets its own personal tag instead of a sticky label.
- When crafting with kids: each child paints their own square. At the end, they take home a small sign that they really made themselves.
- When making Christmas cards: stick or tie a small square with writing onto the card. Your greeting gets a wooden element made of 3 mm plywood that you can feel.
- When making a Mother's Day or Father's Day present: tie a wooden tag you've designed yourself to a jar or bottle. Your gift instantly feels more personal.
- In a café, at the bakery counter or at a market stall: write varieties and prices on the wood by hand. Your goods are neatly labelled, and the sign suits your handmade look.
- At a buffet or party: put a name tag on the napkin at every place. Your guests find their seats, and the table looks thoughtfully laid.
Good to know about laser-cut wooden labels
The brown edges come from laser cutting. The heat slightly darkens the cut surface. For you, this means no sanding is needed. Every label comes with a fine contrasting edge that frames your writing and design.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. The wood is untreated, so it doesn't like constant moisture. Stored in a dry place, the squares keep their light, even surface for a long time. If you want to use them outdoors or in damp conditions, you can oil or paint them first.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the wooden squares or stick things on them? Yes. The plywood is untreated. You can paint it, stick things on it, write on it, coat it or oil it.
Why are the edges brown? The squares are laser-cut, which slightly darkens the cut edges. This is typical of the process and gives a clean, even edge.
Do all the squares look the same? Wood is a natural material. Shade and grain vary, and small knots are possible. That is exactly what makes every piece unique.
How do I attach the squares? Simply pull ribbon, string or wire through the two holes centred on two sides. Use them as tags, garlands or signs.
This is more than a piece of plywood. It's about the moment someone picks up your present and reads the small handwritten tag first. Just choose your size and set, and get started.
