The skier is made of 3 mm poplar plywood and is laser-cut. That's where the smooth edges come from, along with the typical brown edge that gives the design a fine outline. The surface is untreated, neither varnished nor stained. So you can easily paint it, stick things on it, coat it or oil it. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness and grain vary, and small knots or irregularities may occur. That makes every piece one of a kind – not a flaw, but character.
