• You're hanging up a piece of handmade work, not a mass-produced item. Every window decoration is made and laser-cut in Bütic's own production in Pößneck.
• Your decoration will last for many winters – thanks to careful workmanship and laser cuts without frayed edges.

Why these star window decorations make a difference every day

Wooden window decorations bring warmth to the Christmas season. You see them from inside at breakfast and from outside when you come home. Instead of flashing fairy lights, a calm, clear star hangs in your window. You can see it all through Advent. And because the stars have a timeless design, you'll look forward to them every year when the box of Christmas decorations comes down from the loft.

Material & finish

The wooden stars are made of poplar plywood, the acrylic stars of acrylic glass – both versions are laser-cut, so every cut is even and clean. Wood is a purely natural material: plywood varies in shade, shows different patterns in the grain and may have small knots. That's exactly what makes every wooden star unique – not a flaw, but the character of the material. Handmade in Germany.

Good to know about the star

For centuries, the star has been an essential part of Christmas – as a symbol of the Star of Bethlehem, which, according to tradition, showed the way to the manger. That's why a star in the window is more than decoration: it's the classic Christmas motif, and it fits from the first Sunday of Advent well into January.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do: after the season, dust dry and store in a protected place – that's all. Avoid prolonged moisture on the wooden versions, and the window decorations will keep their good looks for many years.
