Slight variations in colour are part of it and make each piece unique. They are not a flaw. The clean, precisely lasered edges make painting and covering easier for you. Every piece of lettering is made in our own production in Pößneck.

Poplar plywood is one of the lightest plywoods there is. That's exactly why it's so popular for decoration and model making. For you, this means even longer lettering can easily be fixed to the wall with adhesive pads or a little craft glue. No drilling needed.

Care & durability

There isn't much you need to do. Dusting with a dry cloth now and then is enough. As the wood is untreated, it's best kept in dry indoor areas. Avoid constant moisture. If you paint or oil the letters, you decide on the look and protection of the surface yourself.

• Important: the height you choose refers to capital letters and numbers. Small special characters such as full stops, commas or hyphens are made to the scale of the font. They are therefore much smaller. In Arial, for example, a full stop at 10 cm is only about 1.4 cm in size.

Can I paint or cover the letters? Yes. The wood is untreated and natural. You can paint it, oil it, cover it or leave it as it is.

How do I fix the letters? The characters can be glued and drilled. At just 3 mm thick, they are light and hold well on the wall.

Why do the letters have a brown edge? The characters are laser-cut. The brown edge is created in the process and is typical of this production method.

Why is my full stop or comma so small? Small punctuation marks are made to the scale of the font, just as they are designed in the typeface. That's why they are much smaller than the height you chose.

Do all the letters come as one piece? No, each letter is delivered individually. This lets you decide freely on spacing and layout.
