Green Fuzz wooden letters – letters made of wood, 5–20 cm

Slight variations in colour are part of wood as a natural material. They make every character one of a kind.

Good to know about laser-cut wooden letters

During laser cutting, the wood heats up slightly at the cut edge. That's where the distinctive brown edge comes from. It may sound like a side effect, but it works like a fine, natural outline. Care & durability

There isn't much to do. Simply keep the untreated characters dry and dust them when needed. If you paint or oil them, you decide on the colour and finish yourself. That way your lettering stays the way you imagined it for a long time.

• Important: the height you choose refers to capital letters and numbers. Small characters such as full stop, comma or minus are made to the scale of the font. So they are much smaller. In Arial, for example, a full stop at a letter height of 10 cm is only about 1.4 cm.
• For a word or sentence, order all characters in the same size. That way they match.

Frequently asked questions

Can I paint or oil the letters? Yes. The poplar plywood is untreated and natural. You can paint it, oil it or cover it to suit your interior style.

How do I fix the characters? You can glue them or drill them. At 3 mm thick they are light. They are easy to fix to a wall, a shop window or signs.

Why is my full stop or comma so small? Small punctuation marks are made to the same scale as in the font. That's why they come out much smaller than the chosen height of the capital letters. Order all the characters of a text in the same size, and the lettering will look right.

Where does the brown edge come from? It forms during laser cutting and is typical of this method. It brings out the outlines of the font and is part of how the characters look.
